Propagating metaphors is an ironic definition in itself, because i’m using a metaphor to define another metaphor. “Propagating” is a natural occurring reproductive process that pervades in nature; like a “Chameleon’s” ability to change color, to which is ubiquitously know for blending with it’s surrounding.
A somewhat false propagating misconception, because the change is a defense mechanism to signal different forms of emotions; such as being territorial, aggression and mating behavior. To really understand propagating metaphors we need to focus on biology, ethology and comparative psychology.
